This is an image born of a dialogue between photographer and painter Laurent Askienazy and artificial intelligence.

 

A long exchange with the machine in which the artist describes and then refines the scene and atmosphere he imagines. Lots of words then, a bit of unexpected, inherent to all artistic creation, and finally the work of post-production, with its retouching, additions, deletions... To get, in the end, to his inner visions : enigmatic, delicately surreal, where the cinematic worlds of Wes Anderson, Alfred Hitchcock and David Lynch intertwine.
